When the Chabad-Lubavitch community began to blossom in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in the mid-19th century, the Vaad Hakashrus of Crown Heights, led by the Rabbonim, established Crown Heights Kashrus (CHK) to provide confident, reliable, and halachically exquisite kosher supervision for the local community.
Over the past three-quarters of a century, CHK has blossomed into a global-yet-local Kosher powerhouse, with an international team of Mashgichim certifying everything from Crown Heights establishments, to meat processing in South America, to vineyards in Europe, to dairy farms in Israel. Throughout our ingredients remain the same: integrity, consistency, always certifiably divine.
